Artemis Fowl is a story about a super rich genius criminal boy called Artemis. He and his loyal bodyguard Butler discover fairies. They are beings with incredible technology they were driven to the underground because the humans were taking to much space. Artemis happens to come across a sprite who gives him a the fairy bible but the sprite dies. Artemis is determined to catch a fairy and he gets his chance.He stumbles across a female member of the L.E.P.recon fairy police named Holly. Artemis locks her away in his mansion what he is after is fairy gold and he is willing to take Holly hostage for it. There is only one problem L.E.P.police are coming in every direction to get to Holly...
Artemis Fowl was a very interesting book. It was strange that Artemis is the bad guy but the hero of the book. Overall it was a very good book plus if you want to read more there are six more in the series. My rating is 8.5/10 by Obleo
